Short version: the waitlist is for parents. We store your email, your kid's age range and where they play, and which ad brought you here. We don't sell data and we don't show ads inside the game.

Who we are

Soccer IQ (also shown as Football IQ inside the game) is a decision-training game for young soccer players, run by Academy Parent. Contact: hello@academyparent.com.

What we collect on the waitlist

• Your email, so we can tell you when your spot opens.
• Your kid's age range (for example 8–10) and, if you choose, where they play (rec, club or travel, academy). No names, no birthdays.
• How you found us: the ad or link you came from, and your country (from your connection, not your address).
• A random device ID, so we don't count the same visit twice.

What we collect in the game

• Gameplay data: which situations were played, the decisions made, how fast, and the resulting rating. It is linked to a random device ID, not a name.
• Nickname: only if a player posts to a leaderboard or squad board. We ask for a nickname, never a real name.
• Parent email: only if a parent enters it to save progress. Emails given inside the game are also added to the Academy Parent newsletter, and you can unsubscribe from it at any time.

What we don't collect

No real names, home addresses, photos, precise location, contacts or messages. There is no chat and no way for players to contact each other.

Children

The waitlist is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

How we use it

• To send you one welcome email, and then an email when your spot opens.
• To understand who the waitlist is for (for example, which ages sign up) and which ads work.
• To run and improve the game.

Advertising measurement

The waitlist page uses the Meta Pixel to measure page visits and sign-ups from our ads. Meta may receive a scrambled (hashed) form of your email to match sign-ups to ads. We never send your kid's details to Meta. The game itself contains no advertising trackers.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure and encrypted in transit and at rest. Emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service.

How long

Waitlist details: until the waitlist closes or you ask us to delete them. Gameplay data: while the service runs.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or stop hearing from us. Reply to any email or write to hello@academyparent.com. We answer within 30 days. We never sell or rent personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we update the date above and, where we have your email, tell you.
